I'm posting this.. as it's the 4th time I've fainted during work..

~ ♥ I used to have nice teeth and a pretty smile ♥ ~

But now ...

....

1st expexrience of fainting: It happens during work at FourSeasons Catering ..

My friends and i decided to work part time at FourSeasons Catering, packing food into bento boxes, during an early morning shift. We started working at 4am and ended at 9am. During that period of time, i was perfectly normal, feeling fine and excited for this part time job. No one thought that something terrible would be happening to me, neither did i...

The area was kind of stuffy and hot, as it is near to the main kitchen area.. I was busy helping out, packing those yummy food into the bento boxes, everyone was into it. All of a sudden, i had a weird feeling ... I was giddy, hot and a little hungry. I did had my breakfast though... And i said to my friend beside me ... " I think i feel a little dizzy over here" ... Splat! There i was .. fainted straight onto the food. My friend did not had a chance to react at all. He told me that the moment he turn to look at me when i told him i felt giddy.. I was unconscious.

I had totally no idea that i had fainted.. Everything just happen too fast. At the time when i fainted, i thought i was sleeping at home... feeling so comfortable and happy. Till i heard the old song in the radio, my mind was humming to the tune ~ Finally i woke up. It felt like a long~~~ nap! But was told that i only fainted for a few minutes. When i slowly open my lazy eyes, i saw people crowding around me.. I thought " Who are they ... where am i ?" I could'nt hear what they were saying and i heard no one's voice except for the song in the radio.. When i regain my memory, after realising what was going on, i tried to stand up. One of the stuff helped me to the office department, which was a few feet away. I rest on the chair, still feeling nauseous and giddy, i find the plastic bag in the dustbin and held in it front of my mouth. To prepare myself before i throw up everything ... I was feeling upset and unwell. I lie on the table, feeling weak and trembling with coldness. After an hour have pass, i vomited. It felt as if i was about to throw out all the acids in my stomach! Argh =\ It felt terrible... My face was pale and the smell of the vomit just makes me wanna puke more :{ ... It was a terrible incident indeed.

Never did i realise, this would be happening to me for the 2nd time !!! T.T

2nd experience of fainting: It happen during my attachment at Google cafe located at asia square building, near raffles mrt.

This time, i fainted as i slice off the flesh, on my right thumb. It was'nt a very big slice, but it is enough for the blood to be bleeding profusely and it is a slant cut. Part of the nails and the flesh of my right thumb was being slice off. ... By a mandolin that i used during work.. I was using it to slice the carrots. And as you know, carrots are quite tough and hard to slice unlike potatoes or gherkins etc.

After i cut myself, i was bleeding profusely. It was lucky that my chef was beside me, and he pass me a few napkins to stop my bleeding, but the blood just would not stop. As my chef walk away to find other alternative solution for me, i felt dizzy. I tried to keep myself awake by shaking my head once to make sure i'm still conscious. I was holding onto the table to keep myself balance from standing... But before i know it, black out. Similar to the first experience, i heard the sound of the radio, and i woke up within 2 minutes. I look around, and notice that i was sitting on a chair, chin facing upwards. I've had guessed, i'm in the small office next to the kitchen. I was perspiring all over, looking lost. My thumb was still bleeding profusely... I held it up high to allow the backwards flow of my blood. I rest for awhile before i got changed and went to the nearby raffles medical centre which is located at the same building.

At the clinic, i was injected with a jab to prevent infection and the nurse help to clean my wound and bandage it up before i proceed home to rest.

During my incident at Google cafe, my chef told me my reaction was scary. He said " Your eyes kept rolling backwards multiple times and you gave off a groaning sound which sounded deep and scary! It was as if you got possessed!" When i heard this ... i was stunned for a moment. All i know was that i was sleeping peacefully throughout the fainting process.. little did i know that i, myself, would be giving off such scary reaction... I have totally no idea ... ...

3rd experience of fainting: It happen at raffles medical clinic at compass point.

It was the 3rd day after i injured my thumb ... i went to the nearby raffles medical clinic to clean and check on my wound. During the cleaning process, i felt really terrible. It was awefully pain as you can totally feel the nurse cleaning your flesh instead of you thumb .. T.T It was really really terrible. But i still bear with it.

Until ...

I felt giddy again.. feeling nauseous, i asked the nurse for a plastic bag in case i want to puke again ... After she went to get the plastic bag and pass to me, i clutch my fingers, holding it tightly in my left hand. The nurse continue to clean my wound but within seconds, i was lying on the floor. I fainted again x.x!!!! When i regain conscious this time round, i was on the bed. Feeling much better, the nurse finish up the cleaning process and i got home... Still feeling nauseous ...

And after 3 experience of fainting... i finally realise that i would faint whenever the pain was unbearable even when i am able to tolerate it.

4th experience of fainting: It happens at PanPacific hotel ( Main kitchen )

I went there for a part time job, just for a day. Everything was normal, My parents even praise me for looking better after i ended my internship in august. As i've gotten enough rest at home, my face looks healthier. It was all good ... Again, incident occurs to me out of surprise for the 4th time...

When i got to Pan Pacific hotel, i was cutting coriander out of its soil. It was an easy job. No cooking action was seen during such an early time, The kitchen was quiet with a few chefs roaming around and preparing the Mise en Place .. I felt a little hungry and decided to take a few pieces of cookies that i brought from home and shove it in my mouth. At that time, my friend was beside me, i pass her one of my cookies as well, as i thought she might be hungry too~

30 minutes have pass, i suddenly felt hot, giddy for a moment. I thought i was just hungry .. that's all. So i took a cookies out, but before i could take my first bite. I was at it again. I just fainted on the floor. After i woke up, i thought i was sleeping at home ... Till i remember that i was still in the kitchen. Thinking of my weird posture on the floor, i knew i fainted again. I quickly get up and sit on a chair, while the chefs came to ask me what happen. I explain to them that i had blood test check before and might have low blood cells in my body. This might be the cause of my fainting symptoms. At that time, my front tooth was chipped and i got a deep cut under my chin. It was an incident worst than the previous ones.

I went to the nearby raffles clinic for check up before i hurried to the A&E department at the general hospital. I puke for a few times whenever i alighted from the car. It was disastrous. I waited for my turn to have my body check up before i did plastic surgery on my chin and had a few stitches. I felt Ugly ... with my chipped tooth. I do not know how i am able to face my friends and everyone. People will be mocking at my looks .. just like how they did when i was in school cause i had a low EQ and IQ. This thoughts have been appearing in my head, i felt so miserable. But i know my life have to go on~

This time, when i fainted, my friend told me that my reaction was scary. It was expected of her to say that, as it was her first time seeing me in this state. I was alright the previous year when i went for F1 part time job at pan pacific. I have no idea why this incident is occuring to me so often ... And i know, i can't stay in kitchen for long anymore. Especially when it is hot and warm, i felt as if i had little oxygen to breath in there.

My reaction after fainting: I was told that, i rolled my eyes. It was scary as my eyes was totally white and i had spasms at that moment which was pretty shocking and scary.

How i wish i am able to see my own reaction, i can totally imagine seeing others in this state. I know i would be shock and scared too. Life was difficult for me, especially when i have a weak body. However, i would still do the things i like, and achieve what i've dream in my life. I know i can do it :] I was really thankful to all my friends who are there for me and helped me out during the incident, which was kind of troublesome.

Most of all i want to thank my parents, for always being there for me when i'm sick. Taking care of me and cook for me.. I really love my parents, cause they are wonderful.
